Studies show that happiness is a core enabler of employee engagement and organisational performance. Research also demonstrates that success follows happiness (and not vice versa).
On the other hand, a pressure of “feeling happy all the time” leaves people unsatisfied and inadequate.
So, is chasing happiness a myth? Happiness can be achieved.

Biases - both conscious and unconscious - are a human condition. We all have biases that affect our behaviour and decisions. They act as shortcuts for the brain to cope with the masses of information that we are exposed to every single second.
Biases, however, also result in discrimination, or the more subtle microaggressions. We will present examples of common biases that show up in the workplace as microaggressions, examine together how everyone can play a role in minimising these, and how companies that elect to stand up against bias and for fairness have a competitive advantage by creating inclusive cultures.
